Jessie Lingard To Tottenham? The Bookies Know The Truth…

By The Boy -

West Ham and Arsenal are set to do battle for Jesse Lingard’s signature this summer, according to Ladbrokes. The Manchester United ace has been in sensational form for the Hammers this season, but the bookies reckon David Moyes will have a battle on his hands if he’s to keep Lingard on a permanent basis.

West Ham remains 7/4 favorites for his signature as things stand, with Arsenal close behind at 3/1, while Real Madrid are the surprise 12/1 shots in the betting to make a move. Alex Apati of Ladbrokes told The Boy Hotspur:

“Lingard’s been one of the player of the season in the Premier League this season and if there’s not a place for him in the Man United squad, the odds suggest there’ll be plenty of clubs ready to do battle for his signature.”

The Latest Betting Jesse Lingard’s Next Club

West Ham – 7/4

Arsenal – 3/1

Leicester – 6/1

Everton 10/1

Chelsea 10/1

Real Madrid 2/1

Wolves 16/1

Not a great manager but Roy Keane is the joint most successful Irish footballer of all time, having won 19 major trophies 17 of which came at Manchester United, in his club career.

If I were Baldy, I’d be looking for a caretaker to come in.

Normally I would take the view that as poorly as we might be doing currently, that in one off game like a final, that Jose’s experience might get us over the line. However, if the harmony between him and the players is as bad as we might fear, how can he get them focused on being good enough to beat Citeh, who could win four trophies this season…

fair point, from one who views Toby as the best we currently have with Rodon. ENIC are a cancerous growth that may kill a beloved, historic institution. They have previous on that front.

I think Antonio does a great job and would be the type of back up for Kane that a successful squad would have. Levy won’t do that though

Compared to the likes of Dier and Sanchez Messrs Anderson, Dunk and Bassouma are an upgrade me thinks!

If Dilly has his way you may get your wish as hes lined up quite the eclectic mix of relegation battlers; Anderson, Dunk, Bassouma..

I totally agree about the complete lack of succession planning, we should have had Eriksen, Dembele and Verts replacments already signed and blooded into the first team, ready to hit the ground running by the time of their inevitable departures. Do you think the club are looking up Kane and Son replacements in the event of their possible departure? Not on your nelly. We will have a summer long saga of will they won’t they only for deals to be done at the last minute and Spurs trying to bring in Batsyui on loan 5 minutes before the window shuts.

Who would have thought Lingard would be a better loan than Bale. In half a season. Levy didn’t.

Rodon seems a more natural defender than Dier and Sanchez who are often out of position. Should have Tobys experience with him until the end of the season, fitness permitting.

It’s a one off. With Citeh due to lose a final and probably Kane’s farewell swansong the script is written?!!

To put in some perspective compared to Bale’s insignificant contributions to date Lingard’s superb loan spell for West Ham has catapulted the Hammers into the race for top 4!

It’s been a real problem for a long time. Social media is completely out of control and the companies involved don’t accept enough responsibility for their respective platforms.

Is racism in Britain getting worse? I can’t see it. Is it getting worse worldwide? Or are a very few really nasty people just getting vocal? Maybe also using bots? With these types of media vulnerabilities (and social media has such huge weaknesses that the platforms have to potential to actually cause problems within society) you might also have disruptive foreign powers adding to the issue with fake racism aimed at causing divisions within society. Even with the comparatively decent media we had previously the Russian disinformation schemes were very effective in increasing antisemitism around the World (See Red Horizons – a fantastic but very scary book)

What do you think we have Everton away on Friday have we recovered enough mentally and physically to take on Everton or we are hopeless and disintegrating further as a team? I think this 3 points is our last chance if we want to finish top4 if not then the next thing you know will be the Ars trying to catch us and finish on top of us that is worst case scenario I guess.

I don’t have any ITK, but there is a story Club Brugge have had pre contract negotiations with him to return to his home country Belgium and maybe Mourinho is not willing to play him knowing he’s off. Eriksen got a touch of the cold shoulder too when he decided to leave.

Elevenstonedidiots
Elevenstonedidiots

H any ITK on why Toby has been jettisoned? Its a strange one given that he is by far our best defender. The same thing happened under Poch albeit over a contract dispute but perhaps he’s not the galvanizing force in the dressing room we hope he is.

He’d be a damn sight better than the 1 million per month we have spunked on our former darling. The way things are going, he’s going to have many better options than Spurs for next season anyway.

Maybe he’s having a good season… But David Bentley had one or two of these… Would any Yiddo want Jesse? Not for me after watching his manure performances over the years.
