James Milner admits he’s impressed with striker Tottenham want to sign

By Mehdi Gokal -

Brighton forward Evan Ferguson is one of the names linked with Tottenham as a potential Harry Kane replacement and summer signing.

It was reported last week that Tottenham are interested in signing Brighton’s Evan Ferguson and have made an enquiry to see whether the club are willing to sell him or not.

However, Brighton reportedly have no intentions of selling him and the North London club is aware that signing him will not be easy.

James Milner who is known as the ultimate professional has now praised the young striker having been impressed by him in his short time at Brighton so far.

Milner told The Times about Ferguson:

“Evan’s so young, lethal round the box with his finishing.

“Again there are lots of areas where he can get even better very easily and he’s so good already. It just shows the potential he has.”

TBH Says:

There is no way Spurs are signing Ferguson this summer specially with less than a week left in the window to shut.

Brighton have already lost two key players in Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister and would definitely not consider any more sales at this point of the transfer window.

The young striker however, could be a superb future signing. In 23 appearances so far he has scored 7 goals and assisted another two.

The 18-year-old is a highly rated youngster and is already being eyed by a number of top clubs including Manchester United.
