James Maddison shares three-word reaction as Tottenham ace seals summer exit

Tottenham star James Maddison has shared a three-word reaction as teammate Manor Solomon completed a move to Leeds United on a season-long loan.

Apart from signing some top-class players to bolster their ranks, Tottenham have also offloaded quite a few players who are not in their plans for the 2024/25 season. Tanguy Ndombele, Japhet Tanganga and Ryan Sessgnon have been released by the North London club while they have cashed in on the likes of Joe Rodon, Oliver Skipp and Emerson Royal.

Pierre-Emile Højbjerg and Bryan Gil have left the club on a temporary basis and Manor Solomon is another one who has joined that list. The Israeli international has completed his move to Leeds United on a season loan loan on Tuesday. Following the 25-year-old’s move, Spurs teammate James Maddison has sent his best wishes for his new adventure in the Championship.

Solomon celebrated his move to Leeds with a post on Instagram and he received a lot of love in the comments below with Maddison wishing him well by saying ‘Good Luck brother’.

The Israeli winger was signed by Spurs last summer on the back of an impressive loan spell at Fulham. But, his debut campaign at the North London club didn’t go according to plan as he was out injured for a majority of the part and was only involved in six matches.

The 25-year-old was surplus to requirements heading into the 2024/25 season and Tottenham were ready to sanction his departure. But, that didn’t go according to plan. However, they have managed to send him out on loan to Leeds and only an exceptional loan spell could help him revive his career at the North London club where his contract runs until 2028.
