The reports linking Tottenham to the striker have gained momentum over the past 48 hours.
Both The Evening Standard and Caughtoffside have claimed that Tottenham are expected to make a move for the striker this summer with the latter claiming that they are to make a formal bid in the coming days.
According to Tavolieri, talks between the two clubs are currently in progress.
While no official written offer has been submitted by Tottenham as of yet, the process is actively underway.
Tavolieri’s tweet read:

Gent manager Hein Vanhaezebrouck has also acknowledged the possibility of selling Orban due to financial considerations claiming they need cash to strengthen their squad enough to remain competitive.
The club is reportedly open to the idea of parting with the striker in order to strengthen their squad and maintain competitiveness.
Recent developments indicate that Tottenham considers Orban a serious target, and the likelihood of a move seems high.
According to Alasdair Gold, Spurs are aware of the need to act quickly if they want to secure Orban’s signing
The striker’s impressive track record, including 20 goals and 2 assists in 22 appearances last season, followed by 5 goals in 4 games this season, has undoubtedly caught the attention of Tottenham.
His potential signing could be a significant boost for Tottenham.
