Italian Press Talks Of “London Blitz” Piero Ausilio Possibly Interested In Two Tottenham Players

By The Boy -

Piero Ausilio is the sporting director of Inter Milan. Italian outlet Tuttosport understands that Ausilio’s recent trip to London was not just to watch England thump Montenegro at Wembley Stadium.

The primary target appears to be Chelsea’s Oliver Giroud, who now aged 33, might be inclined for dotage deal in beautiful Milan.

Tottenham now have a small disorderly queue forming – of players who have very limited futures in N17 – and this transfer rumour could signal the re-homing of two of them.

Christian Eriksen and Jan Vertonghen are said to be targets for Inter Milan.

Now, there have been mentions of pre-contracts in relation to Eriksen in recent months, and one can only hope that the Dane’s representatives could organize something for either this coming January, or the end of the season.

Perhaps if Eriksen had a new goal in mind, after the collapse of his proposed Real Madrid move, this might in some ways improve his demeanour and his form for us, before he walks.

As for Vertonghen, it is difficult to guess at what his personal situation is. Snippets from the player on social media always seem to make the right noises, but then the Belgian has been dropped by Pochettino, despite not being declared injured.
