‘It could happen…’: 11-goal star admits a move to Tottenham could materialise in future

By Saikat -

Copenhagen winger Roony Bardghji has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months.

The 18-year-old has established himself as one of the most exciting young attacking prospects in European football and it is no surprise that the top clubs are keen on him.

Spurs are reportedly keen on signing him during the summer transfer window. According to a report from Aftonbladet, the player has now hinted that a potential move could be on the cards in future.

He said: “It’s fun to think about. You never know, it could happen. Hard to say now.”

Tottenham recently signed Lucas Bergvall during the January transfer window. He was questioned whether he would reunite with his compatriots at the north London club. Tottenham already have Dejan Kulusevski and Bergvall at their disposal and it remains to be seen whether they decide to make a move for the 18-year-old Copenhagen winger.

Bardghji has been a key player for Copenhagen this season, scoring 11 goals across all competitions.

He is versatile enough to operate as a winger as well as a striker. He could prove to be a useful option for Spurs in the final third with his creativity, flair and goalscoring ability.

A move to the Premier League would an exciting step up for the young winger as well and regular football in England could accelerate his development.

The attacking philosophy of Ange Postecoglou would be a good fit for the Swedish winger as well.
