Is Son sending Kane a message with his social media activity?

Harry Kane had attempted to go AWOL to force his exit from Tottenham and it seems he has disappointed his strike partner, Son Heung-min.

The England captain told Tottenham that he wanted to leave before Euro 2020 and had hoped that they would reach an agreement over a transfer for him with another top club before he returns.

He earned an extended break because England reached the final of the competition, but Tottenham is still not looking to sell him in this transfer window.

The striker seemed to have taken matters into his own hands by refusing to return for Tottenham’s preseason training.

After missing the first two days of his expected return, The Daily Mail reports that Son liked an Instagram post criticising his absence.

The post by a Tottenham fan account claimed that no player is bigger than the club and added that Kane has won no trophies, while Tottenham has 26 which were won mostly under the management of Bill Nicholson.

Son’s like may have been accidental, but it couldn’t have come at a better time.

The South Korean formed a deadly attacking partnership with Kane last season, but he faces starting over again with a new partner if Kane eventually gets his wish to leave the club in this transfer window.
