Is experienced Juventus outcast the sort of player that Tottenham should sign?

Sami Khedira has enjoyed a very fine career and is currently on the books of Italian champions Juventus.

The 33-year-old has been frozen out of the first team in Turin for economic reasons and he will likely not play for them again.

He spoke recently and claimed that he would like to play in the Premier League, he also said that he remains in touch with Jose Mourinho who managed him at Real Madrid.

Speaking to a German media outlet as quoted by Sun Sports, he said: “There is dialogue with Ancelotti and Mourinho, as we never really lost contact after our time together at Real Madrid.”

The midfielder might not be playing for the club at the moment, but he remains a player that can do a job and his experience will be invaluable to a team like Tottenham.

Spurs are building a very solid team in this campaign and they look very much like a side that will win a trophy.

If that happens, it is important for the team to keep improving and adding some experience will help.

Khedira might have just a few years left, but even for just one season, he could help Spurs achieve things.
