Leicester City have agreed a deal with Tottenham to sign Oliver Skipp.
The news broke earlier today when it was reported that the Foxes are keen on signing the midfielder this summer and that the club is accelerating their pursuit to get the deal done quickly.
And within hours, The Athletic’s David Ornstein confirmed that the the newly promoted side has reached an agreement with Tottenham for Skipp.
The 23-year-old is set to undergo the medical tomorrow before completing the move.
And transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also confirmed these reports while further revealing that the fees agreed between the two clubs is said to be £20m plus £5m add-ons. The formal steps to finalise the move are expected to be made in the next 24 hours.
He shared the update on X:

The two teams meet tomorrow in their Premier League opener at 8pm.
Whether Leicester can secure his signing before the game remains to be seen but from Tottenham’s perspective, this is an outstanding deal.
