Images – Harry Kane magnificent gesture to former club Leyton Orient

Harry Kane and Leyton Orient have entered a groundbreaking sponsorship agreement that would see the England captain sponsor three organisations on the front of the club’s shirt next season.

Kane got his first break in football when he joined Orient on-loan in 2011 and he has remained grateful to the club for that opportunity.

Kane has now built a name for himself as a world-class striker for Tottenham and the England national team.

He has decided to give back to the London side during these trying times. In a unique agreement that would span the whole of next season. The Three Lions captain has taken up the sponsorship of the club’s shirts for their three jerseys.

Their home Jersey will carry “A thank you message to the frontline heroes”, their away jersey will carry “Haven House Children’s Hospice”, while their third shirt would carry: “Mind, the mental health charity.”

This agreement has been ratified by the Premier League, FA and EFL and represents a one-of-a-kind agreement between a player and a club.

“I was born and brought up only at a couple of miles from the stadium and I am really happy to have the opportunity to give back to the club that gave me my first professional start,” said Kane on the sponsorship via the Official Leyton Orient website.

“This also gives me a platform to be able to say a big thank you to the many frontline heroes and charities out there who provide care and support during these challenging times.”

This is pure class from Harry, this is why he is looked up to by so many in and outside of the game.

A great gesture. I think more and more of our footballers will follow the foundations that the U.S. sportstars are involved in.
