Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte is nearing the end of his contract at the Premier League club.
The Italian will be out of contract in the summer and Tottenham have not managed to sign an extension with him yet.
The Italian has done an impressive job since taking over at the London club and it would be a disappointing scenario if he were to leave the club at the end of the season.
The Premier League outfit will be hoping to tie him down to a contract extension and Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth has now dropped a positive update on the Italian’s future.
The Sky Sports reporter has revealed that Conte wants to win a trophy at Tottenham and the Italian is likely to stay beyond this summer.
He said: “I’m told Antonio Conte will NOT leave until he wins a trophy at Tottenham so there is every chance he will be at Spurs beyond his contract on 30th June.”
Conte is a world-class manager and his decision to stay at the club will certainly come as a major boost for the fans and the players.
His presence at the helm will help Tottenham attract the top talents from around the world and he could also play a key role when it comes to holding on to top-class players like Harry Kane.
Tottenham will be hoping to challenge for major trophies in the upcoming seasons and they must look to keep Antonio Conte at the club if they want to fulfill their ambitions. The Italian is a proven winner and he has won trophies across multiple clubs. He will be determined to end Tottenham’s wait for silverware before pursuing another adventure in the near future.
