‘I’m hoping they don’t play! “ Marine boss hoping for some help from Mourinho’s team selection

Son Heung-min and Harry Kane have formed one of the deadliest strike partnerships in European football.

Their goals have been firing Tottenham to win after win and the Lilywhites are on course to win a trophy this season.

Both players have featured in most of the club’s matches, but Jose Mourinho tends to rest them against teams that are not considered top tier.

Spurs will face Marine next in the FA Cup and they really should beat the eighth tier side even if they rest all their top players.

Their manager Neil Young, hopes that Kane and Son are rested by Mourinho as he fears his team becoming their next victim.

Young does, however, accept that whoever their replacements are, they will also be of high quality.

‘You’re painting the right picture for me aren’t you!,’ Young said with a smile when asked how he could succeed where many other managers across Europe have failed in trying to nullify that ruthless attack, by Mail Sport.

‘I’m hoping they don’t play! They have a number of players who could play up front and world-class players throughout the team. I had a full head of hair at the start of the week!’

Spurs will be working hard to avoid any sort of complacency, and even if Mourinho fields the likes of Dele Alli and Carlos Vinicius, they would be expected to still get the win and emphatically so.
