The 22-year-old struggled at Spurs, not quite trusted by Mauricio Pochettino (although in fairness there was a degree of unease in the squad generally at the time, which might have made it challenging for anyone to break through) and not seen as a senior player by Mouinho, a loan feels like a good move.
What is really striking here is the kid’s attitude. Upbeat, friendly and willing. No holding up the shirt like it’s a proof of life snap from a kidnapping.
The fact that is able to speak properly is another plus. Hopefully young Kyle is a good fit for the Saints, and we can only wish him well.
