Fabrizio Romano has made some exciting claims about Tottenham’s transfer plans for the summer.
Spurs have enjoyed two successful transfer windows under Ange Postecoglou signing the likes of James Maddison, Micky van de Ven, Guglielmo Vicario, Radu Dragusin, Timo Werner, and Brennan Johnson.
They have also signed a few exciting youngsters in Lucas Bergvall, Ashley Phillips, Alejo Veliz.
And they are reportedly keen on bolstering their squad further in the summer, in particular the midfield position.
Fabrizio Romano has now shared the latest claiming that they are planning ‘something special’ for the midfield.
He claims that the club will be bringing in an important player to address the position.
Speaking to JD Football, Romano said:
“I see Tottenham signing an important midfielder in the summer transfer window.”
“But a really important one. I think they want to do something special in that position.”
Romano’s update indicates that Spurs could be plotting a move for a big name player.
Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher is one name linked a lot over the past two windows with suggestions that Spurs could pursue him again this summer.
