How Alli could influence the return of former Spurs man

Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Dele Alli’s move to PSG would likely see Christian Eriksen return to Tottenham.

Alli and Eriksen are in similar situations at their present teams and this month is a good time to resolve their futures.

The Englishman started the season as one of Jose Mourinho’s trusted men, but it took the Special One just the first league game of the season to discover that Alli wasn’t ready for the campaign.

The midfielder was subbed off at half time in Tottenham’s 1-0 loss to Everton on matchday one.

He has hardly seen action in the Premier League since, which has seen rumours about his transfer out of the club to swell.

Eriksen, on the other hand, left Tottenham for Inter Milan just a year ago, but he has been deemed the wrong fit for Antonio Conte’s men.

PSG is keen to sign Alli, while Inter wants to also get rid of Eriksen.

The report says that a return of Eriksen is very possible and that the Dane will likely be the player that joins Spurs if Alli leaves.

PSG is keen to sign Alli and if the Frenchmen succeed in landing him, Spurs will bring Eriksen back to help with creativity, so it is now being claimed.
