Hilarious Claim Made Today By The Telegraph

By The Boy -

Mike McGrath of Telegraph Online believes that Danny Rose is now seeking to play for the Tottenham Hotspur first team again. This is the same Danny Rose that not only told José Mourinho in the ‘All Or Nothing’ documentary…

But the same Danny Rose that also told Mourinho of Daniel Levy, “…if you see him, tell him I’m looking for him.”

The very notion that this individual would be able to waltz back into consideration, both overweight and overexposed in the back pages of The Sun newspaper is frankly risible.

Rose’s last professional game was for Newcastle United when they lost 1:3 to Liverpool in the Premier League, on 26.07.2020.

No thanks, Danny.

You and your pizzas can do one.

Retire – go away – stop talking son.

He was an excellent wing back for several years, him and Walker were so key to the team. I think before he went to the papers and ran up his mouth he said some stuff about our fans before that which kind of set the tone. I agree though that a lot of it was blown out of proportion, not his fault that you “have to Google” signings we make. He was right about that anyway…

£1mil we paid for Danny. He was arguably the best left back/wing back in the world for a while. £60k a week🌚 was on £30k for a good few years prior to that. Kept his mouth shut for a good 8 years. Stuff happened in his life which led him to the dark lane and he started running up his mouth saying sh!t everyone else was saying and now he’s a bad guy. Fkin wrong if you ask me

While mostly everyone else would be celebrating wildly the winning of the left over league, I would be saying “It’s what they used to call 6th!

The problem for me is that I would always know it was the left over league (like the left over UEFA Cup, the Ropey). You’re right, though, it’s surely our infrastructure that has brought us to the brink of the ESL and certainly not our performances on the pitch!

I say “brink”, because it may yet not happen!

For such a ruthless ……er person, Levy has been incredibly incompetent in the Rose saga, beyond belief !

It must surely have been in the last century that he actually played a game for us?! Certainly seems like it!

Isn’t it extraordinary that Rose is still with us?

The change from division 1 to the premier league was just a re branding. The essence of competition stayed the same.

This new league is franchise football, not even attempted to put on vale of fake competition. You are in. Forever.

What boils my P is this is the exact reason Levy didnt invest in the team. He knew the team doesnt matter, our infrastructure has bought us success! The new stadium is the only reason we are in. Hence Levy feeling vindicated all along.

Ive always been a nodder along to Harrys opinion that team success brings commercial success. Levy has just proved that to be false.

I never thought we’d be invited and was looking forward to winning the leftover league 1 or whatever its called.

And then we go and sack Jose. Cant be arsed with having to go against all the sheep who wanted him gone.

He should just quietly revel in the fact he has taken Levy for every penny that was owed to him.

The Athletic and other rags are in bits that their ‘sources close to the club’ conduit has just a few months left on his contract before he is mercifully allowed to leave and join Hull, Norwich or Preston.
