Highly-rated Tottenham youngster spotted in training with the first-team

By Mehdi Gokal -

Ange Postecoglou continues the tradition of inviting academy players to join senior team training at Tottenham Hotspur.

Max Robson is the latest youngster to be called up to train with the first-team.

This practice isn’t new, as Postecoglou has previously integrated several academy players into the Spurs’ senior squad, including Ashley Phillips, Alfie Dorrington, Alejo Veliz, Jamie Donley, and Mikey Moore.

Max Robson, a right-back, is now in line to make the transition to the Lilywhites’ senior team.

Spurs star James Maddison shared a photo from training on his Instagram stories, featuring himself alongside teammates, including Robson, at Hotspur Way.

The 21-year-old defender has appeared in 12 games across the Premier League 2 and EFL Trophy this season, registering a goal and two assists.

Tottenham possesses a talented pool of youngsters poised to make an impact for the club in the future.

And who else to help them nurture and develop than Ange who is known for his ability to turn young players with potential into first-team stars.
