Tottenham Hotspur will take on West Ham United in the Premier League tomorrow and they have been handed a major injury boost.

Manager Ange Postecoglou has now confirmed that Son Heung-min will return to action from his injury layoff. In addition to that, Brazilian international Richarlison has recovered from his knock as well, and it will be interesting to see if he’s given an opportunity against the Hammers.

On Son, Postecoglou said to Football London: “Yeah Sonny is good. He’s worked hard these two weeks. He was obviously very disappointed to miss playing for his national team, but I think it’s been good for him these two weeks. He’s worked really hard, had a good solid training week and yeah he can’t wait to get back out there. He’s good to go.”

On Richarlison, he added: “He’s worked really hard and he’s looked really good. He’s had a good week of training and he has missed playing. He is a real infectious guy as well so good to have him back with the group.”

Tottenham will be desperate to put together a winning run now. They have had a mixed start to the season so far and they will be desperate for Champions League qualification. Having their key players back from injury will certainly be a major boost and it remains to be seen whether the likes of Son can Richarlison help him grind out all three points.

West Ham will be determined to get something out of the contest against their London rivals, but Tottenham cannot continue to drop points. The likes of Son and Richarlison will certainly add some much-needed cutting edge to the Tottenham attack. However, they might need some time to regain their sharpness after an injury layoff.

It will be interesting to see if they can hit the ground running and improve Tottenham going forward.
