Here’s The John Henry Apology, So Where’s The Daniel Levy One? | video

By The Boy -

We’re in for an interesting week. The chairman causes all hell to break loose amongst the fanbase and then boots the coach just a few days of a cup final. I wonder what the common factor might be? Either way, the unrest amongst fans is unlikely to ebb away anytime soon. The clubs’ social media channels look set to be clogged with righteous indignation for the foreseeable future. I can’t see Levy putting out an apology tape.

No, I can’t stand the little runt, either, but agree that we had to try and be in or become an also ran, which this nevertheless hideous enterprise was going to do to some famous old clubs.

I wouldn’t call Poch the greatest manager we ever had (what about Nicholson?) and, ultimately, you have to perhaps win some meaningful trophies to earn the greatness label; but, nevertheless, I do think he and his management team were for four years quite possibly doing the most remarkable job of any in the Premiership given the obstacles thrown in his way ie lack of financial backing and having to play home games at Wembley for nigh on two seasons.

Vomit inducing. If the opinion of the fans was so integral to the entire project then why did no club involved consult with their fans beforehand. The reason being that they knew full well that the fans would not tolerate this. They have spent months secretly gathering and hatching this hijacking of football to become just a mechanism to generate even more money. I suspect it was only the prospect of government intervention that perhaps changed their view of their legal exposure. ENIC and Levy have now shown their true ambition and the total disdain they have for the supporters. We have all known this but it has been masked to date by the or spin at THFC. Now it is out in the open door all to see. The damage that these parasites have inflicted on the good name and heritage reputation of the club is catastrophic. Will sponsors now wish to associate themselves with any of these clubs knowing what their true purpose is? Is it any wonder we have so many players who appear not to care about the club. The atmosphere behind the scenes must be completely toxic and I doubt even Mourinho knew quite how bad things were when he joined. ENIC and Levy’s position appears untenable from this point onwards. No fancy narrative or rhetoric can spin this. The real aim is now transparent and the Government should now review the whole issue of governance of football clubs and ensure that supporters have a seat on the board and a meaningful voice in the future of their clubs. This is the only way to prevent a future move to take over control of football by elite money men to the extremes indicated in the ESL. His review should encompass how money is distributed within the game and should include FIFA as well.

And you’ve said it – top 6. Eventually I bet we see more places for top sides from the top leagues. So that the top 6 from the prem at least get a chance in the first qualifying rounds of the champions league. Champions league losers from the quali rounds will drop to the europa at the begining of the season. And teams that don’t make it past the league stage will drop to the europa mid season.

Liverpool people will not let this go away, they know how to show their feelings and get to the truth, so they won’t forgive the yanks for what they have tried to do, of that you can be sure .

I can’t stand the little runt but I make you right on this. I bet Levy was phoning round the other CEOs saying “Top 4 no you have to extend it to Top 6”

Absolutely right Phil. His evil plans have unravelled now. It’s no coincidence that all this occured when there are no fans in the stadia, however if and when they return he will still be in hiding.Nobody will forget this.

The most noticable absence from the grovelling apologies from these scum,is the explanation as to why the fans were not consulted in the first place. That they failed to anticipate it is laughable.

The obvious reason of course is their utter contempt for those fans and the fact that they’re only little people that don’t matter in the grand scheme of bleeding more money out of the game.

That’s another fine mess you’ve got us in Danny. So now the cat is out of the bag. The whole investment in the new stadium was intended to give Spurs a free pass into the ESL. All that lovely fresh income would more than justify spending hundreds of millions on concrete and it wouldn’t even be necessary to shell out for a top shelf playing squad. Throw Jose into the mix with his sterling reputation at the highest levels and away we go. Erm, not so fast gang. No ESL, no Jose, mounting losses, a team with gaping holes in it, a fan base in uproar. Let’s pretend we were only doing it for the good of our supporters and the long term health of those below us. Cobblers! You have been exposed as the greedy self centered scumbags you really are. Get out of our club and the game we love.

I seriously believe Levy needs to see a psychologist. I believe he is suffering from some form of mental illness which affects his judgement. The evidence of his decisions over the last 20 years are there for all to see.
If he carries on the way he is he will isolate everybody except uncle Joe, who appears to be in some form of a living coma most of the time, and allows the little bald buffoon to get away with murder. But the fanbase (those with brains at least), the public and the media dislike him to such an extent that it skews their opinion of our great football club. The Mr Bean of football has to go, and he has to go now before he causes any more damage.
His decision to sack the greatest manager we ever had in Pochettino, has been laid bare for all to see. His failure to support him is also clear for all to see. Enough is enough GO.

I don’t think Levy got this wrong. He got this right. If this ESL had carried on then Levy had got Spurs a seat at the table. As it has panned out….. no harm done.

What would have been a disaster is the ESL becoming reality but no place for Spurs.

Levy has the skin of a rhino. He won’t apologise simply because he actually believes he’s done nothing wrong. A perfect example of a narcissistic psychopath.
