Erik Lamela’s goal was simply extraordinary. I could watch it loop forever.
What I couldn’t bear to watch ever again is Matt Doherty play for Tottenham. I have lost count of the his ineptutudes this afternoon, and if José Mourinho sends him out for the second half, then we are in for more of the same, which means we sahll lose this game, which was winnable. Out of position, slow and generally looking like a bunny in the headlights.
No thanks, please make it stop.
Deserved a win or at least a draw – he could have felt angry about that…if he hadn’t got himself sent off.
Like I said, the blip was the run of wins – the realty of our squads lack of quality was demonstrable today.
