‘He ticks a lot more boxes…’ Pundit says whether Arsenal or Spurs got the better Brazilian striker

This summer transfer window has seen both north London clubs add Brazilian strikers in Gabriel Jesus and Richarlison, so it’s no surprise; there will be a comparison.

Furthermore, heading into this upcoming season, there will be plenty of debate about which side got the better goal scorer. Nonetheless, some pundits are waiting for the new season to arrive to begin debating whether Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur made the right move.

During a segment on talkSPORT, English football pundit Tony Cascarino stated that Arsenal has signed the better Brazilian than Spurs.

“I think Gabriel Jesus has been a player that I think he ticks a lot more boxes, and they’ve got a bit of a better price. And I’d be amazed if you said to me now, who will get the most goals? I say, Gabriel Jesus will get more goals than Richarlison for Tottenham,” Cascarino said.

After the arrival of Erling Haaland, the writing was on the wall for Jesus that significant minutes at Manchester City were not going to be on the table. Also, with the FIFA World Cup later this year, he wants to solidify his place on the Brazil national team.

Meanwhile, Richarlison was looking for a new challenge and competing in UEFA Champions League football, which is something Tottenham could provide him with, leading to the transfer.
