“He absolutely went in on some of them big time” O’Hara reveals what he heard Conte did to Spurs’ flops

Jamie O’Hara is still fuming at the Tottenham players who played in the 2-1 loss to Slovenian minnows, NS Mura on Thursday.

The Lilywhites put in a terrible performance in that game and lost the match very depressingly.

Harry Kane and Dele Alli, among others, played the game, yet Spurs struggled to get even a draw.

O’Hara also reveals that an insider had informed him of Antonio Conte’s reaction to the defeat.

“I’m a Spurs fan first and foremost, I’m passionate about the club, I wear my heart on my sleeve and sometimes I can’t hold it in and I have to say what I have to say,” he said on TalkSport Breakfast.

“I just want to see Spurs do well and see them progress and some of those performances I’ve been seeing… with a new manager coming in and from Antonio Conte’s point of view, he’ll be thinking the same thing.

“And I heard through the grape vine that he absolutely went in on some of them big time. Someone on the inside told me. He went IN.”

The Boy Hotspur says

Most of the players’ Spurs fielded in that game should not be playing for the team.

They showed with that performance that they were not willing to do the work needed to remain at the club.

Conte is one of the most demanding managers in the world and he cannot work with players who will not meet the required standard.

The Italian will need to go through this season with the squad he inherited, which means some of the flops from that game may get another chance.

However, there will likely be several departures from the club in the winter and summer if the players keep underperforming.
