Guardian Confirms The ITK

Never has a deal spent so long being nearly done.

The Guardian say that Tanguy to Tottenham is a done deal, baring personal terms and an act of god.

Plus the money call was right, with the entire package being a shade over €70million, which pretty much deflates the nonsense from Jean Michele Aulas about waiting for a bigger bid.

Whilst I’m not suggesting this to the case, but had Daniel Levy placed his opening bid (widely rumoured to be in the region of €45million) in order to flush out the interest of rivals, then none were encouraged to break cover.

Paris St Germain and Juventus’ names were whored with some gusto and so unless Aulas ‘forgot’ to tell the world, we can safely presume there were no other bids.

Again, the most important point about all of this business is that the 22-year-old France international has been Mauricio Pochettino’s number one target – and Levy went all out to get him.

Congratulations to this blog’s critics who are dumbfounded by the fairness shown towards our Charlatan In Chief. You put the dumb in dumbfounded.
