Greavsie’s Agent Makes Claims Numerous Claims

Tottenham legend Jimmy Greaves remains in hospital and has had thousands of messages of support according to his agent.

And one of the 80-year-old’s well-wishers is none other than music royalty Phil Collins, a Spurs supporter who idolised Jimmy as a kid.

Terry Baker told the Daily Star of Greaves’ A-list ally : “Phil Collins phones me regularly to see how Jimmy is and made a substantial donation.”

Baker manages Greaves’s social media pages and posted this on Facebook last night, confirming that the club’s record goalscorer, admitted to an Essex hospital on Tuesday this week, is not suffering from Coronavirus symptoms.

Collins, 69, would have been a 10-year-old lad when Greaves joined Spurs in 1961, just a couple of years older than my dad who also names the striker as his childhood hero, like many of the same generation of Spurs fans.

Tottenham’s official Twitter account have also been updating on the condition of Greaves who scored 266 goals in 379 appearances for the club.

The 1966 World Cup winner suffered a debilitating stroke five years ago which has left him in a wheelchair, and his health has never recovered.
