Another season in the world-famous Premier League campaign draws to a close, and it looks very much as if Liverpool Football Club will soon be announced as deserved winners of the coveted title. Barring a miracle, Liverpool will be Premier League champions for the 2024/25 season after leading from the front and dominating the rest of the division. This weekend against Spurs could well be the one that calls that shot!
When it comes to ticket information here it has been widely reported in the UK media that THFC has already begun working on a potential replacement for Postecoglou this summer, even though the club still have a shot at winning the Europa League. It remains to be seen if winning the trophy proves to be enough for the 59-year-old to keep his job, but one former Tottenham Hotspur man feels that the Australian deserves another crack at the following season.
Manager Ange Postecoglou has come under increasing pressure as the season has progressed, and Daniel Levy is set to wield his unforgiving managerial axe once again, despite what the season delivers!
TheBoyHotspur understands that one manager with plenty of European experience who is admired in north London, however, with the Premier League described as a ‘personal career dream’, and that man’s name is Borussia Dortmund boss Niko Kovač, despite the 53-year-old only having just been appointed at the Westfalenstadion in January.
Most fans feel that Ange is gone once the Europa reaches its conclusion. I’d expect Ange and Levy have already discussed this, probably some time ago. Ange said after the Frankfurt game, to the press “you’ll have to put up with me a while longer”.
He is gone whether we win it or not, but the thing that riles me as a season ticket holder is I’ve spent money and hours travelling to see such terrible performances week after week, with kamikaze defending, awful tactics and zero game management, and as the confidence has drained from the players it has become worse and worse.
I expect the remaining home fixtures in the league to be just as poor, it’s no wonder fans were leaving inside 10 minutes at Forest, I made it to 75 and couldn’t take any more of it.
Needless to say, this leaves the board of THFC in a particularly unenvious situation!
As a Tottenham fan, seeking to see your club play live, how does this whole situation make you feel?
