Gary Lineker will undoubtedly be connected within football, and yet the presenter’s timeline is now awash with sanctimony in spades from some, accusing the former Tottenham player of ‘recklessness’ and being ‘irresponsible’.
I can genuinely say that I have never known a club, a business, like this one. People mock Liverpool fans, but boy do we give them a run for their money.
