Full Injury Updates: 3 Out and 3 Late Fitness Tests for Blades vs Spurs

By The Boy -

Sheffield United entertain Spurs in tonight’s 6 pm kick-off at Bramall Lane with question marks over two players, John Lundstram and Jack O’Connell.

26-year-old Lundstram took an awkward fall, incurring a shoulder injury, and is thought by Physioroom to be 25% likely to feature this evening. O’Connell’s chances of playing a part later today are rated the same, and his knee injury has been improving on a daily basis.

As for Tottenham, it’s bad news for Japhet Tanganga and Juan Foyth fans, as neither player have return dates. The Argentine’s meniscus tear is likely to rule him out for the rest of the season, and Japhet’s stress fracture in his lower back also looks to be an equally long term injury.

Troy Parrot remains a mystery. We’ve not heard his name mentioned for some time, and yet Physioroom also list him as a late fitness test for tonight.

So all in all, no big surprises and no big excuses before kick-off anyway. With 5 substitutes available, neither coach ought to have much to mumble about.
