Porro has been in impressive form this season scoring 3 goals and picking up 11 assists across all competitions. The Spaniard should prove to be a quality acquisition for Antonio Conte and he would be an upgrade on Tottenham’s current right-back options – Matt Doherty and Emerson Royal.
Meanwhile, the Sporting defender can operate as a right-sided winger as well and his versatility will be an added bonus.
It will be interesting to see if players like Porro and Arnaut Danjuma can help Tottenham secure a top four finish now.
The Londoners will be desperate to qualify for the Champions League next season and it remains to be seen whether their January arrivals can hit the ground running and transform them on the pitch.
