Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the KAA Gent striker Gift Orban.
The 21-year-old striker has been in impressive form for the Belgian club scoring 20 goals in 22 matches across all competitions.
The talented young forward is highly rated around Europe and it is no surprise that the Premier League clubs are keeping tabs on him.
Spurs need to plan for a future without Harry Kane in case the striker ends up leaving this summer and a report from Daily Mail claims that Orban is ‘under consideration’ at the North London club.
It will be interesting to see if Tottenham follow up on their interest with a concrete proposal to sign the youngster.
Orban could be an important first-team player for Tottenham but he might not be the ideal replacement for Harry Kane just yet.
The England international is at the peak of his powers and he scored 32 goals across all competitions. Apart from this goalscoring ability, Kane is a complete forward who contributes significantly with his playmaking as well.
Tottenham need experienced players to replace someone like him and it remains to be seen who they end up signing.
They are reportedly keeping tabs on Brennan Johnson and Jonathan David.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich are in talks with Spurs for the England international and it remains to be seen whether the two parties can come to an agreement soon.
Kane is in the final year of his contract with Tottenham and the London club are under pressure to cash in on him.
