There will be some sore heads this morning, after last night’s Carabao Cup clash between Tottenham and West Ham. The real pain is likely to follow in the next few days as police begin trawling through CCTV footage, and begin the tiresome business of trying to identify those involved.
I’m at a loss to understand why this carry-on is entertained by anyone these days. So many fans wasted some of their best years in prison, as a thank you, for scrapping outside football stadiums.
It’s all very dated and all very sad.
