Fabrizio Romano provides an update on how Tottenham views Dejan Kulusevski

Tottenham Hotspur needed to reinforce their attack to lessen their dependence on Harry Kane and Son Heung-min. The Spurs attack suffers when they struggle or are out of the lineup.

As a result, the north London club made an addition during the January transfer window. Tottenham made a loan deal with Juventus for Dejan Kulusevski, who has fit in at the Premier League club since his arrival.

Transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano provided an update on how Spurs management is seeing Kulusevski. He states that the north London club is “more than happy” with the 21-year-old as part of their long-term project.

Spurs will have to decide whether they want to exercise the €35-million (£29.4-million) this summer. However, should they qualify for the UEFA Champions League, that option to buy clause becomes mandatory; also, if Kulusevski makes 15 appearances as a starter, the clause will be triggered too.

Kulusevski has made ten appearances, scoring two goals and registering four assists.
