Former Tottenham managing director Fabio Paratici is reportedly playing a pivotal role behind the scenes in the club’s pursuit of Canadian striker Jonathan David, according to a report from Inter Live.
Despite no longer holding an official position at Spurs, Paratici remains heavily involved in transfer activities, utilizing his vast network to assist Tottenham in securing top talent.

Fabio Paratici’s tenure at Tottenham started in 2021. As the club’s Managing Director of Football, Paratici oversaw the signings of key players, including Cristian Romero, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Dejan Kulusevski, helping to bolster the squad.
He also played a pivotal role in appointing Antonio Conte as head coach, a move that briefly revived Spurs’ hopes of competing at the highest level.
However, Paratici’s time at Tottenham was cut short after he was found involved in a financial scandal from his time at Juventus, which led to a global football ban.
This controversy resulted in his resignation in April 2023, cutting short his ambitious plans for reshaping Tottenham’s future.

And as per the report from the Italian outlet, he is set to lead operations to help Tottenham secure the signing of Jonathan David on a free transfer next summer.
Last season, the Brooklyn-born forward demonstrated his quality by scoring 26 goals and providing nine assists in 47 matches for Lille, showcasing his ability as a top-level forward.
He has continued his strong form this season, already netting eight goals and providing two assists in 13 games, further boosting his reputation.
His performances have made him one of the most sought-after strikers, especially given that he’ll be available on a free transfer.
Clubs like Inter Milan, Juventus, Arsenal and Chelsea are among top clubs vying for his signature.
But Tottenham remain strong contenders with Paratici expected to play a crucial role in driving the negotiations forward.
