Fabio Paratici discusses the adaptation of Dejan Kulusevski, Rodrigo Bentancur to the Premier League

Nearly two months ago, Tottenham Hotspur made a couple of moves to strengthen their squad, adding Juventus duo Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur. Both players have stepped into the Spurs starting eleven and have made an impact since their arrival.

During an interview with Spurs TV, Managing Director of Football Fabio Paratici shared his thoughts on how he sees the two players adapting to the squad and Premier League.

“We know, me and Antonio Conte, we know these players very well because I was at Juve before and Antonio was in Italy, so he knows very well the players,’ Paratici said.

“We knew that the character and mentality and the style of these kind of players would be right for us. Normally some players need time to adapt, to adapt to the Premier League, to England, whatever, so for Rodrigo and Deki, it was really, really quick.”

This past summer, the north London club saw a couple of players in Bryan Gil, and Emerson Royal arrive and have struggled to play consistently in the Premier League. Furthermore, Gil has left on loan to Valencia, so it Spurs needed to hit on these two players after the summer arrivals haven’t panned out as they might have hoped.

It’s early, but it seems as though Bentancur and Kulusevski are building blocks for the Spurs project under manager Antonio Conte as they continue molding the squad into one the can challenge for silverware.
