‘Explosive’ Sky Sports pundit hails latest Spurs target

Spurs needed to get stuck into this summer’s transfer market, the side under the last 4 coaches had begun to feel stale, and it came as no surprise to anyone that Tottenham failed to qualify for European football, and Bill Nicholson told us, “It’s magnificent to be in Europe, and this club – a club like Tottenham Hotspur – if we’re not in Europe…. we’re nothing. We’re nothing.”

Numerous reports are now suggesting that Ange Postecoglou is now keen on snapping up more talent, this time from London rivals Fulham who find themselves back in England’s top flight this coming season.

Sky Sports’ Jamie Redknapp gushed over the Manor back in March, calling the left-sided attacking midfielder, ‘explosive’ and ‘very composed’.

The jury is still out to some extent on Solomon, as he has played so little football in England, but thanks to Israeli’s contract situation at Shakhtar Donetsk, Spurs would be able to sign Solomon on a free transfer.

Manor matches up very favourably against Heung-min Son, although the sample size of the Fulham player’s data is significantly smaller than that of the South Korean. Also, it does appear to be the case that Sonny was carrying a hernia issue for most of if not all of last term.

Given the tens of millions that Tottenham has ploughed into players that have flatlined, despite being loaned out, it makes no sense for the club to rest on its laurels, and keep spending. Again, anyone fussing over the money side of the business would do well to take a long read of The Deloitte Money League.
