Tottenham are close to striking a deal with Aston Villa for Jacob Ramsey.
Spurs have been strongly linked with a move for the Villa midfielder in recent weeks.
It was previously reported that Spurs made an offer for the player which included Giovani Lo Celso as a deal sweetener but saw the bid rejected.
However, the links have continued and it appears that the club are now closing in on a deal.
As per the latest from TyC Sports, Spurs are locked in negotiations with Aston Villa and a deal for Ramsey ‘will soon be agreed’.
The deal will see Lo Celso go the other way in addition of a £19m fee.

This will be a significant signing for Spurs who have been looking to bolster their midfield this summer.
They have already signed Archie Gray who looks to be part of Ange’s immediate plans.
Ramsey could be another great addition to his side.
His ability to play both as a number 8 and number 10 showcases his versatility and unique skill set, making him an attractive option for the Lilywhites.
