European giants will have to ‘beat competition from Tottenham’ to sign 43-cap Int’l

Tottenham Hotspur has been linked with a move for the South Korean defender Kim Min-Jae once again.

The 25-year-old centre-back was heavily linked with a move to the North London club a couple of seasons ago when he was playing for Chinese outfit Beijing Guoan.

According to the Italian outlet Corriere del Mezzogiorno, Tottenham and Everton are keeping tabs on the defender who signed for Turkish club Fenerbahce in the summer of 2021.

Apparently, the defender has a release clause of €20 million and it remains to be seen whether the Londoners decide to bring him in before the transfer window closes.

Napoli are looking at the South Korean international as a potential replacement for Kalidou Koulibaly, who is thought to be headed to Chelsea.

The report claims that Napoli will have to “beat the competition from Tottenham, Everton, and Rennes” in order to sign the towering centre-half this summer.

Kim Min-Jae has been likened to the England international Harry Maguire because of his powerful frame and playing style.
