Eric Dier has been linked with the move away from Tottenham Hotspur in recent months.
The 29-year-old has not had regular game time under Ange Postecoglou and he needs to leave the club to play more often.
German outfit Bayern Munich are keen on signing the player this month and Florian Plettenberg has revealed that the Bayern Munich hierarchy have ‘directly spoken with Tottenham bosses’ regarding a move for the England international.
Plettenberg claims that the defender could be signed for a fee of around €4 million and he will be offered a contract until the summer of 2025 with the option of extending it for a further year.

The 29-year-old has been a useful servant for Tottenham over the years, but it seems that the time is right for him to move on. A move to Germany would be an exciting opportunity for him and he would get to reunite with his former teammate Harry Kane at the German club.
Dier is versatile enough to operate as a right-back, a central defender as well as a defensive midfielder. He could be the ideal utility man for the German club and he would be very useful during rotation and injuries.
The £85k-a-week England international has already proven himself in the Premier League over the years and the opportunity to showcase his skill set in the Bundesliga will be a tempting proposition.
The Bavarian giants are one of the biggest clubs in the world and they are used to competing for major trophies every season.
Dier will look to win a major trophy with them, if he joins the club this month.
