I wouldn’t be at all surprised if all the club chairmen agreed not to go crazy as soon as the window started knowing there could be no players poached once the season starts,however this doesn’t apply to other leagues wanting EPL players.
An interesting article in Fourfourtwo on Toby is suggesting that the release clause in his contract is due to be paid in 3 annual instalments,which if true doesn’t give us 25M towards a new CB.This does not seem like Levy.
