Tanguy Ndombele stole the show in our FA Cup game last night, and in the process undoubtedly changed public opinion in the process. People are allowed to change their minds, it’s a natural part of the human condition (or are you unaware of the divorce rate?). The Frenchman’s early appearances for Mourinho showed the odd spark, but the boy obviously wasn’t fit. He neither moved nor looked right. For goodness’ sake, he started off last night by dancing on the pitch prior to kick off!
Sure it was a short cameo, but 70% in successful actions is PRECISELY where a competent footballer ought to be. Add to this an 82% passing accuracy, and we have a player who is finding some real form.

Tanguy could turn out to not just live up to his price tag, but prove to be a seminal signing for Spurs. yes it was only the Wycombe, but let’s be thankful it was against anyone at all.
