Tottenham have confirmed they have agreed a deal with Championship side Plymouth Argyle for highly-rated defender Ashley Phillips.
Spurs signed the centre-back from Blackburn back in the summer for just £2m after being impressed by his performances last season, where he made 14 senior appearances across all competitions at just 17 years old.
He immediately caught the eye of Ange who decided against loaning him out at that time with Spurs being short of options at the back.
And he was poised to get an opportunity with the first-team after the injury to Micky van de Ven and the suspension of Cristian Romero.
However, an untimely injury came as a blow for his chances at immediate involvement.
Now that he is back fit, Spurs have decided to loan him out to Plymouth as confirmed by the club.
Tottenham officially announced that the young defender has joined the Championship side for the rest of the season.
