“Disgusting” Oasis Star Rips Into Spurs And He’s Not Wrong | video

Liam Gallagher can occasionally be good value as the voice of the average millionaire supporter and on this occasion, the Manchester City über fan absolutely nails it.

What business did Tottenham have, being in the mix for a closed shop of mega teams? The entire European Super League by rights ought not to have included a side with a reputation for not winning trophies or titles. In fact, I take a view that as far as a business goes THFC looks like a blue-chip operation, but as a football team, we’re simply not in the same bracket as most of the sides shortlisted.

This Man City is completely plastic. They have some history but it isn’t a history of being one of the top teams of Europe. It’s being the West Ham of the north, getting a free stadium ‘gifted’ to them, and having some royal family with links to slavery pay a bunch of mercenaries to kick a ball around after having bought the name, the shirts, and the fans.

Some people might be jealous of Man City, but personally i would stop watching football if Tottenham were taken over by an evil, despotic, oppressive foreign regime that has no respect for human rights whatsoever. Just the fact that teams in our league are allowed to have these foreign despots own them lessons my enjoyment of the game.

Also when people mention Tottenham not being a big team – in the last few years we were runners up in the League and runners up in the Champions League. Just because we didn’t win either doesn’t make these achievements irrelevant.

Whoever takes the managers job now I automatically dont want if they take the job under the current set up and with the same restrictions they are showing no ambition. Which manager who wants to win anything is coming to Spurs we can’t even get Rodgers from Leicester . I wouldn’t blame Kane son and Holberg if they got out as quick as possible .

I’ve seen what they’ve done in East Manchester they’ve spent bundles quite possibly as much as Levy did on the stadium. They are so wealthy that money is quite immaterial.
However if they hadn’t been given that shiny new stadium Mansour would never have bought the club if it had meant playing at dilapidated Maine Road

Could’ve built a team AND stadium with that money

To be fair, neither would City, or Chelsea for that matter, be anywhere near a league of European superpowers, but for the huge injection of oil money. I love Oasis as a band, but they need to shut their mouths and remember where they came from; and how they got to where they are now, when it comes to their football team. Just saying, whilst opinions are a flyin

If we had the right owners we would be far far better. But they have killed us. City & Chelsea very short memories

They did have an advantage of moving into new stadium for how much..? The Arab money only then had to be spent on the team plus a bit the faux PR for the local community projects. How much would of been spent on the team if they had to do both.?

I remember him attending a Spurs-City game at WHL about a decade ago and huge sections chanting “you’re just a sh*t Chas’n’Dave”. Brilliant stuff.

City have also spent several years outside of the premiership after being relegated some years ago.. so a team that were bankrolled in an underhand way that played in League 1 not so long ago deserves to be in it more than us? If he was a Liverpool fan I could understand it. I have nothing against Man City but Noel clearly has a problem with us.

The guy hasn’t written a decent tune in over 20 years. He’s the Status Quo Of Britpop. One trick pony… sorry to be harsh but if you hate my club expect some home truths mate… lol 😂

Every league, even those which are essentially processional, requires a team for everyone else to whip. That’s the only reason I can think why we were involved. Perhaps Daniel Levy finds it more palatable for our team to be the ‘sh!t of the kings’ than the ‘King of the the sh!ts’ in terms of
our standing within the footballing community!

Noel hats Spurs anyway, whatever…

The stadium at the moment is monument to ENIC’s on pitch failings. Until that changes their policies are and have been indefensible…

I think beating City years ago in the FA Cup must have left some kind of emotional scars as a child. When it comes to anything Spurs, he’s a complete knob…

As much as I respect Noel for his musical achievements, he is a well known Spurs hater. To the point that he kept a season ticket in the posh seats at Arsenal ffs!

It’s for us to say if we should have been in that breakaway group. I would take nothing this Spurs hater says about my club seriously. Where would Citeh be if financial fair play were actually enforced with any real conviction? Total hypocrite…

If you’ve heard Gallagher before you’d know how much he hates Tottenham, an almost irrational hatred I’ve heard him call it.
He’s not wrong about our place in this exalted 12 but how quickly do City and Chelsea fans forget.
I am not sure that if Mansour hadn’t turned up at City whether they’d even be in the premiership today. In the case of Chelsea Roman turning up stopped them going into administration.

Liam Gallagher can suck my a**e (upon confirmation by UK authorities that such procedure is in accordance with the current health Act) and his brother can blow my c**k (quarantine might be enforced. Please proceed with caution)!!!

City’s global brand-building involves investing in a world-class team. We spent our load on a stadium that Levy wants to 0lay American football in.

How many teams can boast the stadium Spurs have? of course if you have cash poured in from rich arabs, then you are going to win “silverware and titles” not so long ago, City were very average. FACT mr Gallagher.

We are much better than those teams in Audi Cup terms. Maybe that was a factor?
