When I read before the game that Mourinho was working with Toby, Sissoko, Skipp and Gedson as alternative right backs I thought we’re in trouble. We’re just stuck with these useless fullbacks because we haven’t the money to replace them. Gedson, what was the point of buying him. Jack Clark, why? Dreadful stuff that. We defended poorly and that cost us the match. VAR handball decision also cost us. Blame the daft rule though, the VAR ref is just following orders.
We couldn’t do anything with the ball in the second half. They defended well but we looked void of ideas. Season is over now. No CL next season.

Aurier,Sanchez, Dier and Davies is a rank average defence line up. Dier is ok as long as he can sit deep and just pass unchallenged from one side to the other. He has been playing better than for most of the season but he is still rank average. Sanchez needs someone to marshall him. Aurier and Davies are just plain awful. Davies get the ball. Moves two yards. Stops and turns and plays the ball backwards. Aurier’s only quality is supposedly his crossing and that is 90% hopeful and useless. Dele is a prancing pony who does what exactly?
