The Emerson Royal transfer saga seems to have come to a conclusion, with a move to AC Milan now on the verge of completion.
The defender has been linked with a move to Milan all summer, with the Italian giants showing strong interest in signing him.
In fact, the player is said to have had agreed personal terms with the European giants since the start of the summer, however, they had been struggling to come to terms regarding the fee with the North London club.
And while negotiating a fee has not been easy for the Rossoneris, it appears that they have finally come to an agreement with Levy.
As per the latest update from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, a deal is in place for a package worth over €15m.
The player is set to fly out to Milan to complete the move.
He shared the following on X:
“Emerson Royal to AC Milan, here we go! Deal in place for total package in excess of €15m from Spurs. Agreement with Emerson reached in May as he only wanted Milan despite 4/5 proposals. Travel being planned as Emerson leaves #THFC and joins Milan project.”

With Royal now all but gone, it remains to be seen whether Tottenham sign a backup right back to replace him or if they decide to keep Djed Spence to fill in that role.
Spence has had a decent pre-season but whether he has impressed Ange enough for him to consider him in his plans remains to be season.
