‘Deal could be done now’: Tottenham ‘pushing’ to complete £26m January signing

Tottenham Hotspur are working to sign the Club Brugge winger Antonio Nusa.

The 18-year-old has emerged as a target for the North London club and Fabrizio Romano claims that Tottenham are ‘pushing’ to secure his services this month.

The ‘deal could be done now’ but the winger will stay at the Belgian club on loan until the end of the season. Nusa is not keen on leaving this month and he wants to continue his development with regular football until the end of the season.

The winger could into a top-class attacker with the right coaching and guidance. He could prove to be a long-term asset for Tottenham.

The Premier league side are reportedly working on a €30 million (£26m) deal to sign the player and the transfer could prove to be a bargain in the long run if the Norwegian winger manages to fulfil his  potential.

Tottenham could certainly use more depth in the wide areas and the 18-year-old will add creativity, pace and goals to the side. Ange Postecoglou did well to nurture talented young players at Celtic and the Australian could be the ideal manager for the Norwegian.

A move to the Premier League league would be a major step up in the winger’s career and he will look to prove himself at the highest level.

A report from HLN claims that the Premier League club have already opened talks with the Belgian outfit regarding a January transfer and the final fee could exceeded €30 million including bonuses.
