Danny Murphy gives his verdict on who will finish in the top four

Liverpool and Manchester City will be fighting for the Premier League title, but the next race many are watching is the log jam of five clubs fighting for the last spot for UEFA Champions League football.

West Ham United, Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Wolverhampton Wanderers are all chasing that fourth spot. Pundits are offering their two cents on who will come away with fourth place.

Analyzing the top four picture after this week’s results saw Arsenal lose 2-0 to Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur defeat Brighton & Hove Albion by the same score, English football pundit Danny Murphy told Stadium Astro who sees winning that spot.

“I’ve just got a feeling when I look at the fixtures, I make Arsenal the favorites, but I think Tottenham might sneak in. The two reasons I think they might sneak in is because Conte has always had success everywhere he’s gone,” Murphy said.

“Sometimes managers don’t need to be good, they just need to be lucky, and if you are good and lucky, then great. The other thing is Harry Kane is just hitting the straps at the right time. He just looks so strong and powerful at the moment. So I’ve just got a feeling Tottenham will sneak in for some reason. I hope they do as a former Tottenham player, but it’s fascinating.”

Tottenham will welcome West Ham United this weekend as both clubs have the opportunity to hind their opponent’s chances in the top four race should either side come away with a win. Arsenal will head to Villa Park to defeat Aston Villa; meanwhile, Manchester United welcomes Leicester City, and Wolves see Leeds United visit their grounds.
