Daniel Levy wants ‘outright sale’ for Lo Celso which may hinder any move

According to the latest report from Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovani Lo Celso wants to leave the club before the window shuts.

Italian champions Napoli have been strongly linked with a move for him all summer. And despite reports that Ange Postecoglou has convinced him to stay, it seems like he still wants an out.

It has been reported that Napoli continue to chase Tottenham midfielder Giovani Lo Celso and have now made him their “priority signing”.

The player’s agent has previously confirmed that he is engaged in talks with Napoli over a move this summer.

Lo Celso has struggled to secure a regular place in the Tottenham squad in recent years and has spent a significant amount of time on loan at Villarreal recently where has impressed.

It was previously reported by journalist Matt Law that the player has his heart set on leaving this summer.

However, his pre-season performances under new manager Ange Postecoglou seems to have turned his fortunes around.

Despite him featuring and impressing in all of Tottenham’s pre-season games and was also included in the Tottenham squad for the Premier League opener against Brentford, the player still desires to leave the club as pert the report.

According to TMW, Tottenham are ‘not open to a formula other the outright sale’, while Napoli are hoping for a loan deal.

Levy’s strong stance on a permanent deal might end up posing a challenge for the player’s potential transfer.
