Could This Be Ryan Mason’s Starting XI For The Cup Final? | image

Big game, big decisions. Spurs have had a more eventful week than most, sacking José Mourinho despite the fact no manager has won this competition more times than the Portuguese Pulis. As Paul Merson suggested earlier, if Spurs were to play as they did against Southampton for the first half of their last game, then this final could be done and dusted by the 45th minute later on today…

Parlour was always a c***. Siding with an absentee Yank billionaire owner over his fan base.

Yes – Japhet is a fa4 better defender and tries harder.

I think I’d rather start Winks over lo no show…. the latter can be barely last 45 minutes .. the biggest plus point for us is the use of 5 subs… we’ll need 3 before 75 minutes even its 0-0 😂

Aurrier v Sterling is like a lion v a wounded Gazelle…. the only positive to come out of that insipid 3-0 loss last time was that Sterling got no change out of Japhet, the latter should be starting today especially if Bale plays…

Yeah Parlour was horrible to him. It was embarrassing.

TalkSport have just exposed themselves again for being in the pockets of these elite chairman. Ray Parlour behaved like a smearing shill toward Robbie from AFTV when he went on to talk about Kroenke and how he’s not suitable to run the club. It was embarrassing, they’ve done it with West Ham fans on behalf of the Dave’s, Spurs fans for Levy and now this. Parlour being an ex player, and so called fan who came through the ranks should be ashamed of himself, whatever you think of AFTV, all that stuff is nonsense but he was there to talk about the owners and got steamrolled by these elite protecting PR scum.

I won the champs league on Championship Manager when I was 15, so 29yr old Mason should have no worries today

With the exception of swapping out Winks for Sissy or Moura and Dier for Sanchez I don’t see any other changes you could even make. The rest pick themselves, even Serge!

We are seriously outmatched by City and I just hope they take their foot of the pedal after going in front in order to conserve themselves for the run in. That’s what they did when they toyed with Villa in the second half last week. Jose knew the only way to win was to clog the passing lanes and hit them on the break, just as did when his Inter team held on to knock out a vastly superior Barca with only 19% possession. I fear that Mason will feel under pressure to play a far more expansive game with inevitable results.

They’re Ryan’s mates. It wouldn’t surprise me to see them start.

Agreed apart from selecting either Lamela or Moura over unconvincing Ndombele!!
