Fabrizio Romano believes that Chelsea veteran Willian is no closer to signing off on a twilight deal that keep him at Stamford Bridge. This is perhaps a tiresome piece of news, but given the condition of Tottenham’s finances and the broader market itself, it’s difficult for many fans to become all that excited over any potential moves.

The Special One’s influence is unlikely to have such a magnetic effect upon the Brazilian these days, however the soon-to-be 32-year-old is still putting the ball in the net in the Premier League.
The factors that might go into what Willian might want financially to play for another English side are imponderable at this stage, but the fact that he is stalling at Chelsea is enough to turn a good few Premier League heads.
