It was sad to see that Fabrizio Romano had allowed himself to become part of the disinformation cycle in recent weeks, and perpetuate the myth that there was genuine interest in the Dane from anyone in the Premier League, when in fact all that was in existence was campaign from Eriksen’s agents who were scrambling to get their boy out of Italy.
