Dele,Dier,Aurier all need moving on.Mourinho will have a big decision to make in the summer.He will have had 6 months to assess this squad and will know the ones who need shifting.His problem however will be Levy.Asking silly prices for deadwood and not wanting to spend what is necessary.

Villa always give you a chance, we just didn’t take them until Son late on thankfully, its a worry chances are not being taken, and defensively we also need to be sharper, but we still won, so that shows this team has something to build on.

No one up front is really on top form. Nearly all our shots were at the keeper as tends to be the case when players are shooting too carefully rather than instinctively. By the skin of our teeth, yet again. On this sort of form, I fear Leipzig. We look like the lowest quality of the last 16.

Moura always keeps on going and although he is not scoring he is a handful, Aurier’s crossing was terrible today. He is defending better but now has lost his attacking threat. Jose looked subdued most of the game. LoCelso looks class and a perfect replacement for the Dane. I would like to have seen Ndombele get some minutes but perhaps he is being saved for the CL and Chelsea match. Valuable three points.

Cannot argue that our grit and determination has improved significantly since Mourinho took over. The defending on the other hand….Davies was rusty and Aurier a liability an sure we will be buying some defenders in the summer

One is Ordinary ,while the other is Brutal.
He gets decent service but his touches let’s him down and can’t seem to hold up the ball, also doesn’t track back enough.
Maybe he knows he won’t get any service from a non-creative midfield.
To get 3 points, or a draw we will need another goal, cant see it ending 2-1 to Spurs. Villa pose more threat and are winning most of the 50 50’s.
I think his best position is LCB,he doesn’t have the pace for a full back in the modern game.
